COURSE AIMS
+ Facilitate students with the format and requirements of the TOEFL iBT Writing Test.
+ Provide lessons to practice strategies and skills in making an integrated response in TOEFL iBT Writing Test.
+ Provide sample tasks and exercises.
+ Provide revision lessons in necessary grammar points and vocabulary.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
On the completion of the course, students should be able to
+ read and analyze a text
+ apply appropriate strategies and skills in making a successful response to the question type in TOEFL iBT Integrated writing
+ improve such skills as reading, listening, writing, paraphrasing, summarizing, and synthesizing, note-taking, ……

After the course, students are expected to obtain three objectives as follow:
- Knowledge: Develop background knowledge in different topics and be able to analyze as well as synthesize the knowledge into other skills (Writing, speaking).
- Skills: Be able to understand and apply different reading skills extensively and intensively such as: Recognizing a process, predicting, scanning for details, skimming for main ideas, and the like.
- Attitudes: Positively change their attitudes towards reading.
