This course introduces an analytical software – MATLAB and how to use MATLAB to program and solve some basic problems. A practical and hands on approach is used to introduce students to the analytical software, which are widely used in engineering and research. The concept of variables, arrays and matrices in analytical software is introduced and practiced, so is the concept of programming, logical operation and flow control, associated with several problem solving exercises. Graphical programming and virtual instruments will be introduced and practised.
